Fluorine processed pans: Handling after use

Handling after use

Wash the pan while it is still warm

Wash with mild detergent and sponge on the coated side of the pan as well as the stainless steel side of the pan when it has cooled down a little. Cleaning can be easier when the pan is still warm rather than when it gets totally cooled down. Dry it well before putting it away.

Soak in warm water first to clean it when food has burned on it

Either soak it in warm water or heat the water in the pan, and then clean with mild detergent and sponge.

Points of care

  • Do not scrub burned foods with metal scrub or metal spatula with sharp edges.Do not use cleanser with abrasive or polishing powder on the coated surface of the inside of the pan.
  • After using, do not cause a sudden change in temperature as by soaking a hot pan in water.
  • Do not wash Vita Craft cookware in a dishwasher or dry in a dish dryer.
